Describe the moving panel before ordering parts
For a sliding-door repair request, record the affected panel, movement symptom and visible brand information. Keep roller, track and latch work separate from screen or glass repair. Ask for the findings and proposed parts before approving extra work.

Separate a hardware visit from a door replacement
A latch or roller repair is a different scope from replacement of an exterior door unit. Identify the doors included, access and operation checks. If replacement is proposed, clarify the local approval and installation responsibilities. The Port St. Lucie worksheet helps compare these written boundaries.
